Scented Essentials: Lavender Soap

In response to my grandmother’s gentle nudgings, I began experimenting with French and Spanish lavender oils. Lavender oil creates a soap that is stimulating and astringent. I often recommend it to people with acne or oily skin.

• 32 ounces water
• 24 ounces coconut oil
