I use unsweetened apple juice and add honey for extra flavor. If you use sweetened apple juice, the honey may not be necessary.

• 1 quart water 6 teaspoons black tea or 6 regular tea bags
• 1 cup fresh peppermint leaves
• 2 cups apple juice
• 2 tablespoons honey
• Fresh sprigs of mint for garnish
• Apple slices for garnish
