Sea salt is commonly used as a body polish, but sugar works just as well and is gentler. Almond oil moisturizes dry skin, and frankincense (Boswellia spp.) and lavender are rejuvenating for the skin.
· 1/2 cup unrefined sugar
· 2 tablespoons almond oil
· 3 drops frankincense essential oil
· 3 drops lavender essential oil
Mix all of the ingredients together in a small plastic container. Take a quick warm shower to dampen your skin. Standing in the bathtub, gently massage the mixture onto your skin. Rinse well with warm water. This scrub makes the tub slippery, so use a rubber mat to avoid slipping.
