Avid gardener, herb connoisseur and healing practitioner Nancy Arrowsmith has released her second book, Essential Herbal Wisdom. Arrowsmith provides in-depth, comprehensive information on 50 favorite herbs, covering everything from name origin to cultivation and preservation to medicinal and culinary uses. The former editor-in-chief of Germany’s first organic gardening magazine, Kraut & Rüben, Arrowsmith incorporates many practical tips based on her personal experience. Detailed illustrations are included, as well. This book is great not only for longtime gardening and herb enthusiasts, but also for those just beginning their garden journey.
