The relaxing scent of rose geranium hydrosol creates a great lotion for daily moisturizing. This lotion also makes a nice gift for friends.
· 1/4 ounce beeswax
· 1/3 cup oil, such as sunflower, grapeseed or almond
· 1/2 cup rose geranium (Pelargonium ¥asperum) hydrosol
· 10 drops vitamin E oil
· 5 drops rose geranium essential oil
Create a double boiler by filling a 2-quart saucepan with about 2 inches of water and placing a glass measuring cup in the saucepan. Melt the beeswax in the measuring cup with the stove on low heat. Alternately add the vegetable oil and rose geranium hydrosol, a bit at a time, while stirring continuously. Once the ingredients are combined, remove pot from heat and add vitamin E oil and essential oil. Mix well and pour into small glass containers. Seal and shake the containers until the lotion has solidified.
