Steven Foster Elected Chair of ABC Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees of the American Botanical Council recently elected Steven Foster as its new chair.

Steven Foster, acclaimed author and photographer, was elected chair of the American Botanical Council Board of Trustees. The Board made its selection at a recent meeting at the ABC headquarters in Austin, Texas. According to an article in HerbalGram, Foster succeeds former chair Peggy Brevoort, who is remaining on the ABC Board. He has served on ABC’s Board of Trustees for 10 years, acted as the associate editor of HerbalGram, and written 15 herb-related books and hundreds of magazine articles. In addition, he is a frequent contributor to The Herb Companion and a member of its advisory board.

The Board also selected Roberta A. Lee, M.D., and Bernadette M. Marriott, Ph.D., to serve as new Board members.
