Make small sachets for small, tidy pets, or stuff the whole amount into a large denim pillow for larger, itchier animal friends. Pennyroyal is especially effective as a flea repellent.

Cat Blend

• 2 ounces dried pennyroyal (about 2 cups)
• 1 ounce dried catnip (about 1 cup)
• 1 ounce chamomile (about 1 cup)
• A few drops peppermint oil

Dog Blend

• 2 ounces dried pennyroyal (about 2 cups)
• 1 ounce dried thyme (about 1 cup)
• 1 ounce dried wormwood (about 1 cup)
• A few drops pennyroyal oil

Use whole or cut herbs. This mixture can be refreshed by adding fresh oil from time to time.

    One should take caution using pennyroyal in any form with pets, as it can be highly toxic to them. Please research this controversial herb before using.
